Friends of the Poor is a total volunteer organization. So, with no paid employees we have a need for all sorts of volunteer help to make sure our services and events run smoothly. Whether you are assisting monetarily, with in-kind donations, or by lending us your time and talents, there is something for everyone on this page. And all of it is important. At any given time Friends of the Poor needs money to run our programs, donations to give out, help with our drop-box and technology recycling fundraisers to pay our rent for our furniture warehouse, and of course all of the wonderful volunteers to serve meals, mentor kids, and help with all of our odd jobs throughout the year.
